If you can't log in...

Several users have reported that they can't log in anymore.

For clarification: No one has been banned in the last time. I suppose it has something to do with the MobyThread mod and cookies.

If you can't log on please delete the cookie(s) of the forum from your harddrive. Its name is "wbforum<date>". How to delete it depends on your browser (attention: sometimes there are several cookies with "wbforum*" in the name - delete all of them).

So far this solved the problem for everyone.

With the help of some users we found out that the log in problems have nothing to do with the threaded view or other modifications installed.

Most likely the problem is related to the forum cookies. This kind of problems are often reported at phpBB.com and phpBB.de but there seems to be no unique solution. It may be that updates in the software the hoster is running make a forum unusable.

Here are my suggestions if you have trouble:

Try to delete the forum cookies. Firefox and IE allow you to see which cookies are stored on your computer. Look for everything having "vpittlik" or "wbforum" in its name and delete them all.

If that doesn't help I suggest to delete all cookies from your harddisk using the functions of your browser. If you use different browsers do that with every browser.

After you have done that clear the browser cache.

If you still can't log in click on the "I forgot my password" link at the log-in page to get a new password.
