Hello Fonzy,
That is not bad, not bad at all.
I thought everyone would point to the Sound of Music which is an obvious reference.
The Lovecraft tale is called the Whisperer in Darkness.
There are numerous references to hills and insanity in the works of Lovecraft.
Olivier, I have a read a wide range of books in my life including Lovecraft, Poe, King and some other stuff not fit for airplay. I have the complete works of Poe so I have done more reading of him than any other horror writer save for King...
Needless to say, I will never be a supporter of censorship!
I agree, Lovecraft is evil and definitely I would protect young minds from extensive exposure to him.
A forum where literature, existentialist philosophy and chess engines can be discussed in the same thread is special!
Later.
