Scorpio's egbbs corrupted?

I've downloaded Scorpio's 3,4,5 pieces egbbs from the link given at Leo's site http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/html/details/Scorpio.html.

These files are significatnly smaller than announced (20 and 18 MB). They contain some egbbs but not even all 3+4 pieces. Most annoying is the files are password protected. It is not possible to extract the files without a password. Is this a bad joke, have the side been cracked or what happened?
