The name of the program is lg2000.exe. The example above will only work, if you would rename the program to lgol2000 or lgol200. From my point of view you have mixed the name of the program with the name of it's directory.i have put my lg2000 in a folder chessprograms..i made some entry into my winboard ini...
\"LGol2000\"/fd=c:\\chessprograms\\LGol2000 and
\"LGol200\"/sd=c:\\chessprograms\\LGol2000.
this did not make it, please help.
thanks..finally it is working..i really dont know what happened....now the book is doing fine...The name of the program is lg2000.exe. BTW: There is a new version of the program available at Djordje Vidanovic's site. It seems to be stronger: LG2000a. I recommend to download that prog and change your winbord.ini to the following:
\"LG2000a\" /fd=c:\\chessprograms\\lgol2000
\"LG2000a\" /sd=c:\\chessprograms\\lgol2000
You will also need bookfiles for LG2000. Download of books from Michael Borgstaedts's site didn't work in the last days. To get bookfiles download an older version of the prog (also from Djordje Vidanovic) and extract the book-files only. Rename them from lbook.* to book.*.
Have fun
