Hello Alexandre,
sorry, I don't have an explanation. There was a bug reported with time control but this didn't appear here. I'm now playing the same tourney with the same participants and settings but slower time controls (40/60). First result:
AnMon5.03 vs. Crafty 17.2 1.5:0.5 !

Why do people nowadays play tournaments and chess games using only short thinking times (blitz, rapid and so on)? Such games may give a first impression of the programs but I am much more interested in results on higher playing levels. Who can present hundred and more Windboard games 40/120?

Hm, the reason to play short time tournaments is firstly -you have written it- to get a first impression. And secondly (what is more important) to play a tournament(double round robin) with the engines I have used at 40/120 will need 8*7*2*6 hours. That's a lot. You can find many tournaments at Frank's tournament page Frank's Turnierseite also tournaments with your preferred time controls(WinBoardLeague by Uwe Kleinschmidt).
