A WinBoard match (Rapid 60 min) LG2000v2-Phalanx22 ended 6,5-3,5 in favour of Little Goliath 2000v2. Both programs were running under AMD K6_III 312/64 with 16 megabyte hashtables, no tablebases. The games so far played, including match Crafty174-Phalanx22 with the result of 9-1, gave me the impression that the latest version of Phalanx is tactical stronger but positionally weaker than its predecessor. This observation does only apply to games with longer thinking times.
