,in order to become acquainted with some new engines and versions and to have some suspense I will run some knockout tournaments with more time. In case of interest more. So nothing for rating, only entertainment.
For Knockout Nunn Tournament A games are with 40 minutes plus 20 seconds increment for each move, so every engine on average has approximately one hour for the game, given an average of 60 moves. Two games each pairing with reversed colours. Winners proceed to next stage. In case of a score 1:1 a decision will be made by Blitz games 4m.+2s.. Nunn positions are different for each stage and are chosen by drawing lots. The whole event is on Athlons 2600+ and 3000+ with 256 MB Hash..
I will use the latest version I have. Updates are possible at any time, unless games are already started.
