Hello Computer Chess Comunity:
Hello Olivier:
I congratulate in anounce the official and final format of the World Circuit and World Champ for Next Year between the strongest free engines...
Three Stages:
-First: Four Closed Tournaments. Two Rounds and Four Engines. Round Robin.
Each Tournament 12 Games and 1 winner. Total Games : 48.
-Second : Two Matches between the four engines who win the Tournaments. Each
Match 10 Games. Total Games: 20.
-Third : Final Match for the World Title. 12 Games.
Total Games: 80 Games.
I remember the Time Control: 120´/40 + 30´/20 + Rest 5´. The GUI will be the Arena by Martin Blume from Germany.
List of participants until now(Total of Participants: 16): Ruffian (Sweden), Crafty (USA), List (Germany) and the new addition... Aristarch (Germany).
You make me know your personal list of 16 best engines...
The distribution of engines in the Tournaments will be decided randomly... after select the head groups (no belong to the same Tournament and the top engines).
Other things such as the rules and the way of organization(the opening books, etc..) coming soon....
Thanks and waiting for your personal top 16 list,
Ruben P Rod.
