hi !
few seconds ago i send to leo (http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/) a new release of fafis, this new version has:
---> Fafis v 1.08 -10/07/2004-
-Some important changes in the evaluation function.
-Fafis now has a better pawn evaluation, blocked bishops and rocks.
-Search function optimized.
-Better K_nodes/seg:
-Fafis 1.08 on my P4 2.4 Ghertz: 500 000 K_nodes/seg (+-20 000)
-Small bug in opening book corrected.
-Fafis now uses diferent piece square tables for opening, middle and end game.
-Fafis 1.07 weaker than 1.06?!, this version strong than previous.
