Hi all :-),
I looked over first 50 games in AEGT replay zone King Class. The AEGT King Award here go to Gothmog for a superb win against Thinker (game no.23) and to Tao finishing off Crafty in a fantastic game (no.27).
Other recommended games for replay that go also into the "Best of AEGT" database available for download soon are:
1 Gothmog vs. List
6 Yace vs. Crafty
10 AnMon vs. Thinker
15 Thinker vs. Quark
20 Aristarch vs. Craftye
24 Delfi vs. Tao
28 SmarThink vs. Delfi
39 Yace vs. Ruffian
41 Crafty vs. List
47 Aristarch vs. Gothmog
49 AnMon vs. Ruffian
50 Quark vs. SmarThink

Olivier might feel free to check games 51 to 100 and also give two awards here and then name the next tester who should do it :-). The engine with the most awards will be AEGT Champion MIPS (for most interesting playing style). Of course this is dependent a lot on the likings of the testers and what style they prefer. For me I have to say that I never reached those heights of understanding chess that I could detect those subtle positional maneuvers that are superior to tactical blows fascinating us amateurs so much :-).

Hello Heinz :)
Giving awards for the best games is a wonderful idea ! I hope people will give their opinion, and vote for the games they prefer.
Unfortunately I cannot look carefully at the games right now, my sight is rather weak these days. Running the games is no problem at all (the stuff is automated), but I can't seriously examine the games.

Hello Olivier,
okay, you can do this later when your sight is hopefully better again. I know that you are a good chessplayer.
We will see if some people participate. I let voting open for some weeks. If there is no reaction, maybe we have regrettably to resign to the fact that many people are more interested in the results than in the games. On the other hand it is very hot today, at least here. Hope anyway that at least some authors will look at the games and they can of course also vote (maybe not for their own engine :-)).
Best Regards

I thought that +10 pawns at long time control should be enough to win but it seems that Ufim has a different opinion and it failed to win inspite of +10 evaluation.
Movei shows better knowledge when it has score of only 5-6 pawns against itself.
