Why Dragon-455 had been lunatic for a while?

In a normal game between Dragon 455 and Chess Genius 7.0, and while the game was drawn, Dragon at move 49 played the amazing blunder 49.Nc8?? And it played it after thinking for 22 seconds up to depth 12. The line Dragon had was "d6c8+ e7d8 c8b6 e6g7" The e7d8 is a King move to a Rook check!!!!
After the move it saw that it's play was awful immediately. After taking back the move it choosed another move:49.Kf2 and after taking it back again, it prefered 49.Nb5. And now it plays 49.Nb5 all the time. I'm confused! Does Dragon has any learning file that prevents it from playing the losing move again? And can anyone reproduce the move?

Here is the position and the game:

After taking back the move, Dragon played 49.Nb5 and finally lost.
At the bottom there is the whole game with the 49.Nb5 continuation.
Another strange thing is that Dragon after 70.Ne7 didn't see the Mate in 6 that Chess Genius saw immediately: Kh4 and mate in 6!
