An unusual thing about Div 1 is that the 2 engines (Zarkov & Dragon) which were relegated from the Premier Division 7th edition, are NOW in the relegation zone of Div 1, 8th edition. I'm used to seeing relegated engines no worse than mid-table in the lower division. Perhaps this is a sign that the current Div 1 is a very strong divison.

My prior message was not placed properly. Here it is in a readable format:

I see this from time to time that there is no word wrap. Norm do you know what you did to cause it in the first post and what you did to fix it in the second?

In the 1st post I did not delete the prior post. I thought I was typing at the bottom of the prior post, but I must have been typing somewhere in the middle. I do not believe that I hit prior to typing. It still should have word-wrapped.
The 2nd post was a brand new post that I typed after first deleting the prior post.

Another oddity. I wanted to type that I did not hit "enter" prior to typing. But since I enclosed "enter" between "", it did not print.

Thanks Norm. When I post in the middle I hit several returns to "knock a hole" in the previous post. Doing this (as far as I know) word wrap has not been a problem.

Curiouser and curiouser. I just hit reply to your first post and the >'s and word wrap all looked normal.

Hi Dan, Norm,
It just happen because the text was typed between the <pre> and </pre> tags which are used to format the tables in my post.
Best wishes,
Leo.

That's normal because those will be treated as html tags then

The ">" has nothing to do with the wrapping this is caused by the "pre" tag as Leo wrote and can also be caused by the "pcode" tag if it was used.
">" and "

">" and "<" are treated different by the forum software.
To get a WYSIWYG GUI I can turn HTML totally off, but that will have other (and I think much more) disadvantages. Please take a look at http://www.pittlik.de/wbforum/formatted.html#form to get some hints.

Mystery solved. Thanks Volker and Leo.
