Hi all ,
Patzer 3.61 did very well in a gauntlet between Queen and Rook Class scoring 29.5 points out of 48 games. This is by far the best score until now for a engine against Queen and Rook opponents. Time control as always in AEGT games is 40/40 adapted to 2 Ghz CPU.

One remark concerning ElChinito. I want to appeal to my fellow testers in AEGT not to react hysterically and take hastily ElChinito out of the gauntlets. I wonder anyway if some of those testers who already did it this morning even understand enough concerning programming to verify if all those indications imply cloning or not. It will happen now that Eugenio will write to Bob to clarify if the main parts of ElChinito have nothing to do with Crafty and there is no reason not to wait for the outcome of this discussion of the most concerned people. We will not judge before Eugenio told his part of the story I hope.
If it then will still be claimed conviningly that ElChinito is a Crafty Clone we will of course start AEGT 2 without ElChinito. In AEGT 1 Queen Class including ElChinito is almost finished.
Apart from that I want to say thanks to Paul Hunter for this important work and I hope that he will continue.
Best Regards
Heinz
