Hello Pete,
see in my News Ticker
Thanks for your help, I think also that Eugen is very strong !
And LaPetite !
This is great that Gabi give this program for free. I hope that programmer then see that Gabi´s official program is not an copy from Crafty. This is good and we have a new interest free chess engine from the first women (OK, Kate Spracklen) !
Kind regards
Frank
Wow, well that was a quickly thrown together batch file because I wanted to be able to start Eugen faster, at the moment Eugen is my favorite program, for some reason Eugen's game play reminds me of the program Mirage from Russia.
I wish I didn't have to go all the way to Dos to run Eugen, but that's ok. I did change that batch file a little bit so that it now reminds me of what the commands for Eugen are before starting the program. The "pause" line just stops the batch file so that it can print the commands to the screen so you can read them, & then you just hit any key and Eugen rather slowly starts. It seems to work ok. See below.
"OK, Kate Spracklen" has to be considered an obscure reference, I'll have to sit down and play another game or two against Sargon, I haven't done it in a couple of days now.
