Aggressive Winboard Engines

I've been playing Crafty the last 2 months and am quite impressed with its
aggressive style. My question to the more experienced Winboard players is:
are there any programs with similar styles and equally as strong? I was impressed by the non-winboard programs Rexchess and Rebel Decade but Crafty is
now my favorite. From your experience what are the most aggressive Winboard engines? Thanks in advance.

I recommend to test AnMon. And also to read the Crafty doc-file carefully and check the evaluation command. It's possible to modify the playing style of Crafty. You can make it play less or _more_ aggressive.
Have fun

Also though not quite as strong as Crafty are Comet (available on the download page) and Phalanx (see the links pages). These are also very strong aggresive Winboard programs. Yes AnMon is quite good.

This is not a problem, and sometimes two people respond at the same time to the same post but there's no way to know that it's happening until you reload the forum page.
So we must be right about Comet & Phalanx!
It would be interesting to see Volker's and your's Winboard pages sometime do polls like CCC does but more Winboard related. But they have a way to make sure you only vote once, and I don't know how that is done, I would see not being able to regulate one person voting several times as being a possible problem with doing a poll, because in the Chicago area we have people who have been pushing up daises (dead) for 5 years still voting in elections.

The most agressive and in a way speculative style I have seen
by wb-engs has the latest version of lagrande. Totally different
to crafty...
