SOS vs. Shredder 3

Hi there
after 10 blitz games(5min./game)the standing is 8 points for shredder(PIII 550)
and two points for SOS(AMD K6 II 450). Games were played at chess.net.
The opponent told me , with a secret trick Shredder § is able to play with WinBoard. I heared this before... but the trick is really a secret:-(

nach 10 Spielen Blitz 5min./game führt Shredder 3 (PIII 550) gegen SOS(AMD K 6II 450)mit 8 zu 2. Gespielt wurde bei chess.net.
Der Gegner sagte übrigens GLAUBWÜRDIG das er die normal Käufliche Shredder 3 engine mit einem Trick als WinBoardengine verwenden kann. Der Trick ist allerdings nicht öffentlich.(mist)
Dieses Gerücht gibt es schon länger auf den Servern...

Not that I'll have an answer, but I'm assuming that if he's using Shredder through Winboard (?) that Shredder must have an exe file and not an eng like in Chessbase engines, is this true?
It's probably then a matter of coming up with the correct command line parameter for winboard.ini. Try digging around in the doc and txt etc. files that came with Shredder and see if you can dig up any info. It's probably safe to experiment (carefully) too.
