I have replay the 30 games of SOS with the first version, it is much better!
Thanx to Djordje Vidanovic.
Please delete games of SOS in the pgn files that I was send to you, I will send to you
the "new" 30 games of SOS.
IMPORTANT:
Gromit is the 2.20 version with a eval.cfg tweaked by myself.
NUTx is a private program not publicy available.
SOS is the 25/10/99 version.
Comments:
I have made this tournament to test NUTx and my tweaked eval.cfg for Gromit 2.20.
IMHO NUTx is strong positionnaly and tacticaly but it is somewhat weak in endgame.
My eval.cfg for Gromit 2.20 is interesting and produces some very good tactical games,
but I think it is not as strong as the original version.
SOS is very strong in blitz game but WARNING don't use the second version(3/11/99) who play
very bad.
AnMon 5.01 is very strong too in blitz game!
Final Standing:
1.SOS(25/10/99) 18.5/30
2.AnMon 5.01 17.5/30
3.NUTx 14.5/30
4.Gromit 9.5/30
