New Winboard Program

A new Winboard program, named Freyr, has been released. It can be downloaded from http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lab/3716/. The command line should be "freyr -xboard" and the program runs fine. First impressions: a solid program, probably expert strength (about 2100 American Elo).
The author's name is Andrei Fortuna, he is Romanian.

Hi Carlos,
I wrote an eMail to the programmer and hope I get more informations. I can not create the 2 book files index.dat and book.bin. I think that FreyR will have this two book files. Furthermore I can not adjust the hashtable size. FreyR use hard 26 MB for hashtables.
I will wait and make the detail page later !

The program play but will on my machine not make a move !
Permanent in the analyse mode !
Ponder = On or Off, I have this problem !
Move now, analyze mode work fine, not the edit mode. Here WinBoard crashed !
I hope we can solve the problems !

Hello,
the programmer will make an new download version with opening book, parameter for hashtables. I get later more information from the programmer. I made my detail page later and will waite.
