Hi Dann,
One ommission from this list of winboard engines is a
fine little program called 'Mint'.
Not a strong engine in comp v comp games, roughly the
same strength as sjeng etc, but a good program to
play against if, like me, you get trashed by the
stronger engines......Also has a nice feature i've
not seen in other winboard engines :-)
AFAIK mint is not available for download, if you want
it you have to write a nice e-mail to the author.
his address should be available here:-
http://ds.onyx.nu/mint/
Best wishes
Tony.
BTW have you found a way to run Queen under winboard, instead
of it's own GUI.??
BTW-2 noticed Gully2 above, is this freely available yet ??

tellics say Mint salutes you! Have a nice game.
tellics say I am a computer! But a friendly computer :)

No engines allowed which are not freely downloadable by everyone. No opening books that cannot be had by the general public. Hence JRCP, Mint, etc. are all disqualified. Also, no commercial programs.
No. I don't think you can.
Not yet. Before long. I like it.

Hello Dann:
Two questions:
1)If Queen do not run under Winboard, why you have its winboard.ini command
at the winboard.ini list?
2)Where I can find Queen program?

He was trying just in case it did work and forgot to remove it?
You can find Queen here: http://home.wxs.nl/~ammeraal/ , it's not a bad little interface program.
