Hi,
I have seen some people testing 'Rashess' here. I just want to let you know that Rashess is a Pharaon clone with changed names and (very) few changed settings.
The first thing I do when I get a new engine is starting it in console mode. There where 2 uncommon things from Rashess. First the tutorial mode which I knew from Pharaon, second the copyprotection checking which is unusual for freeware.
After comparing the output it's clear that Rashess is the same engine as Pharaon:

To my surprise I received Rashess today and could take a look into it
now too, after the postings here.
Comparing the ini files from Rashess and Pharaon WB is even easier:
Almost all ini entries in _French_ language from Pharaon are
still there in Rashess
This seems to be the worst cloning scenario since Denis Grafens cheap
Pepito clone...
As there is no source available from Pharaon AFAIK, it must be a
pure copy of Pharaon with just some changed names...
