Hi ,
Tao 5.7b3 gauntlet with 600 games and "heavy settings" over all 20 Nunn Suite 2 positions is finished. Opponents were partly from Nunn Top2 partly from other top tournaments like in SmarThink gauntlet.
Rating improvement for Tao 5.7b3 over Tao 5.6 so far is 17 points. So Tao is closing up slowly but constantly to the best engines.

Athlon 3000+
64 MB Hash
ponder=off
5 men EGTB
Nunn2 positions
Time control: 4m + 2s increment

Hello Johan,
fine, how many games will follow? I will also test Tao 5.7b3 in my Active Chess tournaments with 25 min. + 10 sec. that will continue in about two weeks. For me there is a big improvement from Tao 5.4 to the new 5.6 and 5.7b3. But Bas seems to be modest and still thinks that Tao is on one level with Pharaon, as he wrote to me.

I play under Arena and each night i add 2 programs to play 4RR against
Tao5.7b3. Yesterday's results are
Tao5.7b3 - ElChinito 3.25 : 0 - 4 !!!!
Tao5.7b3 - Green Light Chess : 2.5 - 1.5

He made a very big jump from Tao 5.4 to Tao 5.6. Tao5 .6 to Tao 5.7b3 is very difficult to say at the moment.
