[BlackType "program"]
1.d4 e6 2.Nf3 f5
{merlin choose an closed opening .. he seems to prefer closed posiiton instead of opened one.
4.Bg2 d5 5.O-O Bd6 6.c4 c6 {
merlin begin with a stonewall defense , an anti computer opening
la defense stonewall terreur des programmes.}
7.b3 Qe7 8.a4
{
phalanx can prepare the exchange of the dark square bishop to weacken black defense on dark square.
préservant le fou noir ne permettait plus aux noirs de roquer.} 9.Ba3 {
a natural move in this opening
un coup logique qui est dans l'esprit de l'ouverture.} 9...Bxa3 10.Nxa3 {
now phalanx is out of book
phalanx sort de son livre d'ouverture} 10...Nbd7 11.Qd3 O-O {
and marlin begin to think . normally black should try to avoid the bishop exchange and to activate their queen side bishop.
maneuvre classique (Fd7-e8-h5)} 12.Nc2 dxc4
{
merlin open the center and anable the e4 advance . He forget thta in the choosen opening , black chances are kingside.
l'aile roi.} 13.bxc4 Re8 14.c5 e5 15.e3 {
taking in e5 leave a weack pawn in c5
la prise en e5 laise le pion c5 faible.}
15...e4 16.Qb3+ {an intermediate check to save the knigth.
un echec intermediaire qui sauve le cavalier}
16...Kh8 17.Nd2 Nb8 18.Qb2 Qe6 19.f3 exf3 {
leave e4 deefenseless give a very weack pawn to black.
laissez pendre en e4 donnait un pion très faible aux noirs.} 20.Rxf3 Ng4 21.Bh3 Na6 22.Bxg4 fxg4 23.Rff1
Nb4 24.e4 {the passe dpawn advances .phalanx met en branle son pion passé.} 24...Nxc2 25.Qxc2 Qd7
26.Qc3 {supporting d4. soutenant le pion d4} 26...Qc7 27.Nc4 Be6 28.Nb6 {i think the knigth could felt better in d6.
le cavalier pourrait etre mieux en d6} 28...Ra6 29.Rf4 Qd8 30.Raf1 {phalanx get slowly a better position.
phalanx place ses pieces.} 30...Kg8 {Avoiding a possible checkmate threats. controlant f8 et annulant la menace de mat du couloir.}
31.Nc4 Qe7 32.Nd6 {the knigth has a good square here.le cavalier dispose ici d'un avant poste d'une efficacite redoutable} 32...Rd8 33.e5
{
the knigth is really hard to chase away now.
maintenant le cavalier est vraiment indélogeable.}
33...Raa8 34.R1f2 Rdb8 35.Qb2 Qd7 36.Qc2 Qe7 37.Nf5 Qd8 {
black should not enter the endgame since white would win easily !
De plus le pion passé protégé des blancs s'averera redoutable en finale.}
38.Rxg4 g6 39.Nh6+ Kg7 40.Rh4 {
merlin lose on time but the game is lost.
} 1-0
