Hi,
I have released an updated version of "Surprise" which fixes a couple of bugs. See below for the link. Note that the name of the opening book file has changed.
The most important bug was that Surprise-4.1 did not recognize a conventional clock setting correctly. Surprise always used incremental mode and played much too fast after move 40. This has been corrected now.
Please use this update version from now on for your tournaments.
