Surprise 4.1, like its latest update 4.1.2, is not playing blitz very well. Furthermore, incremental mode was still buggy in 4.1.

I hope to finish work on an improved version within the next weeks. Currently I would not expect Surprise-4.1.2 to play at equal level with engines rated about 2000 or more (like in this tournament). For blitz, I think Surprise is about 1600/1700. For 40/40 or other long time controls, I guess it's about 1800/1900.

Hi Sven
I added Surprise to test it for first time, but I didnt know what was the level of your program but I hope still using it in more tournaments.
I usually run blitz tournaments so I hope you solve soon the incremental bugs to use it with all strengh
