tomorrow in Roma will start the CIPS 2004 (Italian championship of chess engines)
Partecipants:
1. Delfi 4.5 ; Fabio Cavicchio.
2. Esc 1.16 (o 2.5) Claudio Della Corte.
3. Uragano 077m Luca Naddei. (Operator Tiziana Mancini)
4. Chiron 0.3.8 Ubaldo Andrea Farina. (Operator Pierpaolo Berardi)
5. Smash 0.9-rc1 (o -rc2) Maurizio Sambati.
6. Rinko 1.16 Marco Grella.
7. LarsenVB 0.05.01 Luca Dormio.
8. EtaBeta 1.1 Antonietta Jeanrenaud.
Etabeta will be the first engine written by a woman in the history of CIPS (maybe the first engine in the world?)
You can observe live the game on FICS.
No games in the saturday on afternoon.
