ENGLISH
The participants of our long lasting AT 2004
tournament are now clear. I had to decide the
participants of this amateur tourney by
drawing lots. Hence, some engines like
AnMon 5.32 / Delfi 4.5 / Tao 5.6 / Yace 0.99.87
can't play. Details and playing conditions of
this tournament almost daily on our homepage at
http://www.utzingerk.com/at_2004.htm

Juli 2004.

Hi Sedat
As you know each engine has to play 20 rounds vs
all other engines and the amount of games to be
played (90m+30s) is increasing with the number
of programs included: please consider the following:
8 engines = 560 games
9 engines = 720 games
10 engines = 900 games
11 engines = 1100 games
12 engines = 1320 games
We have simply not the time for such an enormous
tournament. And we prefer to have a few engines
with much games than a lot of engines with less
games and no hint as to playing strenght.

Hello Kurt,

Best,

And Tao 5.6 would do even better than Delfi 4.5!
But let's leave Kurt to do as he wishes and let's enjoy his tournament. He won't be able to please everybody no matter what.
