CM9000 Judge II - 19/23
CM 10th Edition (default) - 12.5/23
This is my first match using arena with w-deeb-v02__powerbook.abk. Ruffian also had access to his excelltent book Ruffian.bok
1: Ruffian_105 16.5/27 1011101=01=0===10===0111=11? 173.25
2: Judge II 10.5/27 0100010=10=1===01===1000=00? 173.25
27 games played
Level: Blitz 10/0
Hardware: Dual Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Build 2600 Service Pack 1
Next I removed Ruffian's access to Ruffian.bok and got this result.
1: Judge II 23.0/36 100=11=0110==1111==1111=110=1=1=00==? 299.00
2: Ruffian_105 13.0/36 011=00=1001==0000==0000=001=0=0=11==? 299.00
36 games played

Hi Jason,
Thank you for using my Power_Book,but it's rather old my friend and it's quality is much much lower than my current opening book:Wizard_Book v1.0 which is downloadable at the Arena site!
This sunday I'll even release Wizard_Book v2.0 which is comparable to the quality of the best commercial opening books and even better
Regards,
Dr.Wael Deeb

That's a big difference in results! Would you play an even number of games in each match though to give a better comparison? I'm interested.
Remember also that my intention is to find an optimal setting for CM9000 at longer time controls at this stage.
Thanks for your work Jason. Always interested in your opinion.
Graham.

I'm very interested in your judge II setting and I'll finish 50 games against Ruffian with and without Ruffian.bok. I'll email you when I'm done with the results.
After that I'm planning on testing Judge II and pro deo further against various engines and at different time controls. I have the following results in my preliminary testing.
Engine Score Ju Re S-B
1: Judge 2 13.0/25 ························· 110110===0=01=10=0=10=110 156.00
2: Rebeluci 12.0/25 001001===1=10=01=1=01=001 ························· 156.00
25 of 30 games played
Name of the tournament: Judge II - prodeo
Level: Blitz 10/0
Hardware: Dual Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
