I just got permission from Ruffian's Programmer to include Ruffian 1.05 in my package. Download the most recent version here. http://www.cacsi.com/chess/Winboard_Package_Aug_4th.exe
Engines included:
Crafty 19.15 -- Most well known free engine and includes multiprocessor support.
Ruffian 1.05 -- Strongest free engine I've tested.
Delfi 4.5 -- Strong, yet it can be handicapped down to 1250 elo. Read Delfi.ini for more details.
I like playing this engine because it goes easy on CPU usage when playing on the handicapped levels and it doesn't move instantly.
Thinker 4.6c -- Three Strong free engines
Pharaon 2.62
Sjeng 12.13

Hello Jason,
Please don't get me wrong, but I can not see the purpose of your package. All the above engines can be downloaded separately, without special permission from their authors.
Could you explain your intentions with a few words?

Gábor

I'm mainly gearing my package towards computer illiterate people. I agree my package is not geared for most of the people here. Just figuring out how to configure winboard.ini can be a headache for a amateur.
This package would probably be appreciated by many players who play online and would like to analyse their games with something that is free. A lot of chess players aren't rich and would be happy I think to have free and easy options. :)
