Günther Simon reported time management problems with version 2.3beta6. Maybe you better choose the beta5, that played not bad in my Nunn tournaments. If you do not have it I can send it to you.

Hi Will, IIRC this happens when you use an older 'default.per'
for this version of Beowulf. It seems though Beowulf corrects
it by itself?
AFAIK there is no need for having a 'default.per' file at all
since some time, as Beowulf will use default values anyway,
if no 'default.per' file is provided.
And regarding Heinz's answer, yes beta6 lost on time in RWBC
in round 1...
