Hello Olivier,
thnaks for the games. Will be interesting to see how LambChop does against Queen Class.

I just got the votes from Thomas Mayer and so even without the outstanding votes from Igor majorities are already clear.
We should prefer that readers know about our decisions for AEGT 2.
The questions were:
------------------
exlude List 512 from next AEGT (this has nothing to do with cloning but with this nasty "one move prior to mate bug"?
no (3 votes) yes (7 votes)
I repeat my question, if this bug was already present in List 504 or if we could take that one. A new release of List without this bug will of course enter AEGT again, as List is a free engine.
-------------------
include "hybrids" (those like Ktulu, Patriot and soon SmarThink and Fafis) with their last public availabe version in tournaments)?
no (6 votes) yes (4 votes)
this was a narrow decision and opinions of readers are still welcome
-------------------
make an exception for Ruffian for comparison?
there was another narrow decision to include Ruffian that probably is regarded by most the strongest of those versions that were free some time ago.
-------------------
status of Gandalf 4.32 versions?
was regarded private or commercial and is therefore excluded
-------------------
run less than four classes in AEGT 2?
no tester wants less than 4 classes
--------------------
run an additional Knight Class?
Five testers want to have one class more and those who want could do this. I did some calculations with Ralf how to do this given the same number of testers (we lost two and won two up to now) and will present this proposals in a few days. Main point that we have enough CPU power for this is that we do not have to run this amount of gauntlets for rating calculation and qualify anymore with AEGT 2.
Main rule for all oncoming AEGT tournaments remains the same. Every tester can play as much games as he wants and when he does it is alone his decision. Moreover every tester can choose the class or classes he prefers for running the tournaments.
Best Regards
Heinz

Hi Heinz
By the way, maybe we must regard LambChop as "hybrid" : Tony Werten is working now on Warp (private/commercial?). LambChop will not be updated anymore and I doubt Tony cares about the results of LambChop.

Hi Olivier ,
I know of course that Warp is playing in Leo´s tournaments and that it is a private version. On the other hand I do not know about plans to go commercial.
Programs that will not be updated anymore we have a lot, maybe we should keep at least the strongest of them like Pepito for two years. And as soon as LambChop 10.99 is more than two years old we can remove it.
We will surely discuss about inclusion of programs before every new AEGT. Being very pedantic one could also argue that there exist commercial versions like Delfi Trainer or Little Goliath Blitz. I do not know if opinions concerning this will change when more and more will become commercial or maybe we will have more people like Ed with Pro Deo in the future coming back to amateur status.
Best Regards
Heinz

Hi Olivier,
main difference of course for Little Goliath and Delfi is of course that the authors are still giving us new versions for free.

Tony Werten is working on Warp? I thought it was Peter McKenzie.
