Hi,
the new version 2.70 of Jonny is available now, here a list
of the most important changes:
- a bug in the evaluation of bad bishops was fixed
- move-ordering slightly improved
- some endgame-knowledge implemented:
wrong bishop; draw-detection if opponent has more material, but
no pawns left; endgame KP-K; endgame-detection improved;
some evaluation paramters adjusted; new evaluation terms:
doubled rooks; active bishops; weak squares
- improved time-algorithm:
"easy move"-detection and "panic-time" (in failLow-situations);
better time-usage in controls like 40/40
- logging can be turned of now in "settings.ini"
