List with Polyglot under Winboard

When I use List under Winboard with Polyglot, sometimes Winboard gives an error.
I investigated poliglot.log and found the following:


< ENGINE bestmove d7d6 ponder
parse_bestmove(): missing argument


It is a bug of List.
List should not send "ponder" without the pondering move.
A similar report without solutions was in this forum archive (see link below).
However, other people seem to use List without problems.
What is your work-around?
Maybe you disable Polyglot's error messages? How?

If you use PolyGlot 1.0 then you need to download the latest beta from Dann Corbits ftp (if you can not get it send me a email and I send it to you).
With the latest beta the PolyGlot ini should be like this:

EngineName = List 512
EngineDir = D:\WinBoard\_UCIEngines\List512
EngineCommand = List512.exe
PonderWorkAround = true
Log = true
LogFile = List.log
[Engine]
Hash = 128 ; in MB
NalimovPath = D:\SchaakData\TBs
NalimovCache = 8
(also with when you use ponder=off!)
