Winboard 4.5 does not load ini after editing it.

Please help!

Im trying to load all my favourite chess engines in 4.5 ini file but Winboard will not load the new information. It still uses the old ini file it must have pre loaded and will not load the new one. I tried re-starting pc and winboard and doing a cold re-start. Nothing working. Anyone have any ideas I can try?

You are most likely editing the wrong ini file. Look at the first (comment) lines in the file to see what it says.

Btw, WinBoard 4.5.2 has menu items for editing the lists of installed engines, (Engine-> Install1st/2nd), so there is no need to locate and edit your settings file for this at all.
