WinBoard 4.5 downloads

I have prepared a beta installer package for WinBoard 4.5, but I have a very weird problem: When I run some engines through the Windows Start menu, the logo of the human usere sometimes shows up as a highly magnified spin button (which is not use by WB anywhere, btw). I am starting to suspect this is a Windows bug. Could anyone test if this is peculiar to my system?
The bug manifests itself when I run, Start -> WinBoard-4.5.0 -> Xiangqi Engines -> HaQiKi D, and then play a move (so that it becomes human vs engine). The white logo should then become the one from logos\hgm.bmp (or, if no logo in the name of the user exist, logos\dummy.bmp), but in stead it becomes a giant button. Same for Xiangqi Engines -> MaxQi. But with Xiangqi Engines -> Elephant Eye (and any of the engines in the Chess Engines submenu, including MaxQi!) my logo shows up normally. Both Shogi Engines entries again produce the button.
The 4.5.0 beta installer can be downloaded from
http://hgm.nubati.net/WinBoard-4.5.0.exe
For this test it might be best to rename hgm.bmp to your own username.
The weird thing is that when I start the same engine through the startup dialog, using the same file with settings (e.g. @mini.ini for mini-Shogi) as the menu shortcut uses as "additional options", everything works normally.
