Can we have a variation board in Winboard?

Hello, I figure that this will be a long shot, but why should I not try? In both Fritz GUI and in TCEC Unofficial World Computer Chess Championship the spectators are always able to see a chess engines' PV on a small board. Winboard has a great engine output function /window; nevertheless, would it be possible to code a variation board into Winboard? This way a viewer can see both actual gameplay and the engines' PV simultaneously. Of course PV notation is great too. However, seeing an engines' PV displayed on a small variation board would help the user to better see its plans, ideas and "thoughts".

All the best,

WinBoard already uses the main board as variation board, to display the engine PVs. This gives an economy of space that I rather like. Otherwise you would need three boards when playing engines against each other. And looking at the PV usually requires some interaction with the computer anyway; displaying only the final position of the PV is not very satisfactory, as it is usually non-sensical. So you would want to walk along the PV in a controlled way.
