Hello!
I don't know if this really is a bug, but I noticed that I cannot load a FRC game (from the PGN file), if I have not selected before the FRC variant. The initial position is not loaded correctly, and as a consequence I get a message saying that a move (for example the first knight move) is illegal.
The PGN was not created by XBoard, but by CuteChess. I should try with a game created by XBoard.
I am under Linux, and I use XBoard 4.9.1. (I had a problem with the XBoard that I compiled myself, so I went back to the one provided with my Linux distribution, but this is another story.)
