1.04 - Working again with Polyglot uci>wb adapter.

Fixed crash which occurred if 'init string' box was empty.

Will now just default to 64mb hash.

New 256mb hash setting

Available from my homepage.

Jim.

Hi Jim,

I loaded ApilChess 1.04 into the fritz8 gui as a uci engine. It used 64M hash even though I specified 128M on the gui interface. There were no engine parameters to set. It cannot handle incremental time (2'+1") and kept using about 6 sec per move. It lost on time. It was also losing anyway.

Hi Norm,

Apilchess has a very basic Uci implementation - a lot
of commands simply not there yet. As it stands the engine
is more of a template/framework than a fully-complete engine.

Hash adjustment only in Arena gui at the moment through 'init string' box.
I will implement proper uci stuff that will work with Fritz a.s.a.p

best,
Jim.
