source code release for atomic engine - pulsar

Postby PulsarMike » 14 Oct 2009, 23:41

Hi,

I have released, with a liscence i made up that i finnally settled on, source code for the atomic portion of the code of pulsar2009. If compiled it should run the atomic engine only of the pulsar2009 program identially to pulsar2009. I had 4 files, two with search related functions and two with revaluate related functions, that pertained to non atomic engines in pulsar, and these were excluded from the release, build, of source code. Some common files for example the winboard interface file, had function calls deleted ( i deleted maybe 30 lines total ) that were making calls in these 4 excluded files functions. It was clean in the sense that if the engine is playing atomic it would not go down these paths, mostly these 30 calls were stuff like makemove i.e. makefischer castle or make a plop move in crazyhouse. Common code in the pulsar program, for example winboard interface code ( as mentioned) and book code is provided with the exception of the deletions mentioned. I compiled and linked the code and have been running threechecksbot on icc with this code playing atomic last 72 hours or so. Running fine. Note the liscence for the atomic code only pertains to that release, i believe i'm clear, the executables are essentialy freeware with really no restrictions as mentioned in their liscence terms on the pulsar main page, this isnt changing.
