Yes and no. The file .depend is missing or empty. Gcc complains about missing *.cpp files. Alll files are there but as *.c.

After renaming all *.c to *.cpp it still doesn't compile:

book.cpp: In function ?void readbook()?:
book.cpp:53: Fehler: ?inCheck? wurde in diesem G?ltigkeitsbereich nicht definiert
make: *** [book.o] Fehler 1

What means. "inCheck" hasn't been defined.

Thanks for trying.

There is a line near the end of the Makefile:

$(CXX) -MM $(OBJS:.o=.cpp) > $@

Which maybe ought to be:

$(CXX) -MM $(OBJS:.o=.c) > $@

But that is only a guess, and perhaps someone else can help.

Xpdnt is written in c NOT c++

I made the above change to Makefile and added InCheck() to the book.h file.
