Hello!

The new version of pikoSzachy is available. It is now 10% smaller, 20% faster and maybe 30 ELO stronger

Hello Piotr,

All those changes makes your engine 100% unsuitable to serve as as my sparring partner.

:(

Everything is getting too strong for me.......sob.

Keep up the good work.

Later.

Hello Norm,

Uh, actually it does not.

:)

Both engines are roughly the same strength.

So I admit it, so small an executable can clobber me!

:(

Thanks for the heads up on your software offerings on Jim's page.

Later.

Roger,

I gave the link because it was missing. It was not meant to suggest a sparring partner. ;)

Piotr,

I never noticed that button. I suppose it is a result of setting your website in your profile. No wonder you saved so many bytes in PikoSzachy, you are an efficiency expert! :D

Congrats! It's amazing how much functionality can be packed into 9 KB ... I'm thinking about switching back from Java to assembly language for old times' sake
