scorpio 2.0 release

Postby Daniel Shawul » 29 Oct 2007, 16:21

Hi all,

Scorpio 2.0 is ready. I sent it to leo so you can download today when it is uploaded. There is not much improvement on the single cpu engine but I guess the smp version is better in many ways as many bugs are removed. This is the first time I worked on my own dual core laptop.
The one CEGT tested was still buggy, sorry CEGT guys :)

Martin T from CCRL reported a problem at the talkchess forum, he said that when using 4 CPU's it always reserves 2 CPU's even on opponents turn. I guess that prevents your engine from playing in CCRL using more than 1 CPU.

What more can I say?
