Hi all

I may have released the wrong file for download
both at wbec and my site. This i have noted today because the version
says 1.08a when what i wanted to release was 1.08(without the 'a').

The one i released may be a very buggy one, which sometime ago i sent to AEGT testers and told them not to use it after sometime.

So i have decided to update again... Sorry i caused a problem
I will send the new file to Leo today and he will update it.
If you download again you will get an engine

- which doesn't hang after games are finished
- a much better engine at blitz (but i am not sure if it is any
better at long time control). This is because i have been
updating it since the release.
- which works fine with the big book

I will probably update after CCT7,around February 14 so you may
want to wait until then. But if your tournament can't wait until then please
download again.

Hi Daniel ,

I am a bit confused. As you know I am running a 120 games gauntlet not with the version you send first to all AEGT testers, but with another one with exe file from January, 12th. The gauntlet is now at 3rd part out of 5 and I will give the results later in the forum and at my webpage.

When I now extract the new zip file I am seeing that the exe is not newer but from January, 1st.

Do you think I should replace with this version now for the rest of the gauntlet?

Please let us know when the update/correction "v 1.08" (without the "a") is actually available for download.

You can download it from WBEC, my site has reached its
allocated data and can't host any more files.
