Hello,

Tournaments
Reports and results of tournaments with participation of Winboard/Xboard compatible engines.

Any motivation to post the same thing day after day in all fora, also where they do not belong to?

Regards,
Heinz

That's a bit harsh Heinz. I'm sure we all have an interest in computer chess results fullstop!

So why then not post in Winboard and related Topics or at least combine to one thread like you do it, so that postings from all other Winboard engine tournaments do not vanish before people can read them?

For me personally any tiny tournament with Winboard engines and even if they are not very strong is more interesting and most people already read about Bilbao in other fora or followed the games live.

Yes - the beauty of this forum is that you can keep your tournament updates confined to one thread. As you suggest, this is something that everybody running a tournament should do in order not to clutter the forum.
The other thing though is that not everybody belongs to more than one computer chess forum, so I think it's still worthwhile to keep members informed.
Mind you, my tournaments aren't strictly involving Winboard engines, so I shouldn't really be saying too much!

Regards, Graham.

PS - really enjoying the AEGT tournaments you're coordinating. Keep up the good work.

OK, my post was placed at the wrong place (nobody is perfect).
I would have apprecieated a somewhat more friendly tone.
