Fritz 8 advice please ?

Postby GeoffW » 10 Feb 2005, 18:39

Hello

I am considering purchasing Fritz 8 as it seems reasonably cheap. Link for reference http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... tle=488801

I was wondering how good the game analysis feature is ? Does it give detailed textual explanation of moves and mistakes or just simply identify good and bad moves?
A cut and paste example here would be nice if anyone could manage that please?

My other question, is it possible to play tournaments using Winboard engines in the Fritz Gui ? If so, what type of tournaments are available, e.g round robin, gauntlet etc ?

Thanks for any feedback

Regards Geoff
