Alice new Winboard engine

Postby Pablo » 18 Mar 2005, 02:53

Hello folks,
Dann Corbit compiled Alice 0.35 winboard engine, but do not have any readme file. It looks like an experimental engine.
Is not known the author, the use of various executable files, how to create a book file (I guess could be created because of a book.exe file),etc, etc.
Any comment is welcome.

It really hurts to watch Alice play. I had to pull the plug after barely more than 2 games, as I could not stand it any longer.

Looks like a good punching bag, if you need revenge against the machine.

The author is Sven Reichard.
His email is found in the file AUTHORS in the distribution.
I sent him an email with some questions, but he did not answer it.

I do not know how to build a book, but obviously the program could sorely use one.
