Changes: Changed some buggy illegal move checking
code which was causing freeze ups when
opponent castled.
Changed output buffer flushing.


I've only done limited testing with Arena, but it seems
stable with no crashing/freezing on my computer.

Looks like I didn't test it for long enough.

Found and fixed a few more bugs >

Changes to resign function
(wasn't resigning when it should)

Changes to time management
(should fix most losses due to time)

I have a Tikov 1.0 version newer than 0.62 version.
Your 0.6 version is an upgrade of one of those???

Hello Pablo,

I think the version numbering went wrong somewhere along the line. I downloaded the source code from Dann Corbit's Ftp version 'Tikov 100'
but when you look at the source, it tells you it's 0.6.2 and also when you run it in console mode, also the included readme tells you it has no opening book function or resign, but it has.

Have fun with it anyway, the old version never worked properly, hopefully this one does.

Sorry, correction - you cant see version number in console mode - but it comes up as engine name 'Tikov_0.6.2' in Arena.
