Testers Needed
Posted: 22 Dec 2004, 20:34
I am starting a new Chess Program . My development schedule
has me entering the 2005 CCT with it. Also, the schedule calls for
Beta testers starting January 15 2005. I will make weekly releases
on Saturdays starting January 15 2005 .
How does the new program differ from Noonian?
o It will be object oriented
o A different playing personality
(Noonian was meant to be very positional)
If you would like to be a beta tester, respond to this. I will put you
on my email list. A web site will be created for easy downloads.
What you should do as a tester:
o Minimum:
Run the benchmark and report the results and platform.
Play a few games with it or test it with your favorite program.
o Maximum:
Run the benchmark
Run a gauntlet of any size
Maybe you could analyze a few of the losses and give me a head
start on the improvement effort.
