Book of openings

Postby Anonymous » 20 Mar 2005, 03:59

Hello

It would like to construct a book of openings for the SmartThink v0.17a of Sergei Markoff.
Who can teach me?
He would be grateful for the help.

You can get a very good opening book by downloading the last years of TWIC , and making a tree after this database : I did it with Gandalf , and it works!

Claude, is it a .ctg book (Chessbase format)?
Concerning TWIC, the problem I see is that TWIC usually has more than 1000 games a week, and most of these games are between weak players.

Hi Telmo!
They are not so weak! you have ALL the games of players of Top100
Now , if you want , you may filter on ELO>2500
But you risk to drop many interesting lines
