Hi,
I have a new version of Diablo available. Mostly I wanted to distribute this to fix a few bugs I don't plan on having updates too often in the future.
- Fixed a bug in my UCI interface which could seriously affect time
management in games with X time per Y moves.
- Included Dan Corbit's fixes to some of my sloppy code.
- Fixed a bug in my futility pruning pointed out by Tord.
- a few other minor search and evaluation changes.
- a few other changes to hopefully help compatibility with other platforms
I don't expect this version to play much differently except in games with the X moves in Y minutes time control.
I ran short gauntlet, here are the results.
CPU: 1.6Ghz centrino
Hash: 16Meg-ish
Time: 2/1
Start positions were randomly selected Nunn positions.
