A utility for pgn files
Posted: 13 Apr 2005, 21:46I made up cleandate.exe because I found it annoying to see so many pgns with incomplete "Date" tags. For example: "1995.??.??". This program does not affect incomplete dates for "EventDate" tags.
cleandate.exe, will filter out those pgns to another file. The remaining pgns will go to a file out1.pgn. The pgns removed will go to a file out2.pgn.
usage: cleandate alpha.pgn
